ABOUT
Michelle grew up dancing on Long Island and traveling the competition circuit, even winning a few national best overall awards in tap large productions. Michelle went on to study at Duke University, where she was a four year member of the dance team, mostly because she wanted to watch basketball without having to live in a tent. In each of her four years, Michelle made it to the bandshell for finals at the National Collegiate Dance Association’s championships in Daytona Beach, Florida (except that one year it rained and they had finals indoors). Before starting law school, Michelle worked as a performer at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. Now, she has her dream job as a media and entertainment attorney in New York City. Michelle has been a JANE since the Sports Barre days and is thrilled to finally get to wear the mic. When she is not at JANE, or on emails, or on set, she volunteers as a jazz dance teacher with Groove with Me, a non-profit dedicated to providing free dance education to young girls in East Harlem.
