ABOUT
Natalia Alvarez de Jesus is a Program Officer for a sustainability non-profit by day, holding a bachelor's and master's degree in international relations. Originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico, she moved to NYC at 18 for her studies. Inspired by her Puerto Rican culture and her mom's competitive aerobic background, Natalia has always enjoyed dancing, actively participating in dance extracurriculars and working part-time in dance fitness during college. After time abroad and relocating to Jersey City, she discovered Jane DO, drawn by her love for STEP, while seeking a new third space. Natalia enjoys creating an upbeat and fun environment in her classes with a mix of Spanish and English music. When she isn't training, she loves returning to Puerto Rico to enjoy time with family at the beach, camping, hiking, and going out with friends—especially if it involves dancing and good music.
