Going for the Gold: The Jane DO Challenge
By: Jacey Lambros-Carrino
If you're familiar with our studios, you know we're all about challenging our community to push boundaries, break barriers, and, most importantly, embrace their power. Every now and then, we roll out challenge, urging our clients to dive deep into their reservoirs of strength and determination by committing to DO more. This month's challenge is to "Go for the Gold", where we urge clients to take five classes a week for five weeks. It's a physical and mental marathon that tests endurance, resilience, and the sheer joy of surpassing one's own expectations (that of course aligns perfectly with the Summer Olympics..shout out to our marketing team 👏)
But what does it truly mean to go for the gold? For me, this question transcends the studio walls and steps into the realm of my personal life, relationships, and even more, into my ambitions and dreams.
This challenge has got me thinking about how I can show up and do more in my life. It's present in the lovely chaos of raising my daughter Leni, where I strive to lead by example, teaching her resilience, kindness, and the relentless pursuit of her passions. Going for gold means nurturing her dreams with the same fervor I apply to my own ambitions, molding myself into the role model she deserves; one who doesn't back down from challenges and faces life with a heart full of courage.
As a daughter to aging parents, it means showing up with the same unconditional love my parents showed me. Going for the gold is about honoring their legacy, by ensuring their golden years are filled with the respect and care that they have earned. Let me tell you, this one is HARD! It's a continuous learning curve, and equal parts fulfilling, frustrating, hilarious, and heartbreaking.
Being a good partner to an amazing husband, who is a fellow entrepreneur, requires a team effort, where "going for the gold" translates into fostering a partnership rooted in understanding and mutual support. It means cheering each other on through every win, setback, and milestone, knowing that our individual strengths combined create an even more unstoppable force. We haven't exactly gotten it down to an art, but going for the gold at home is about sharing the finish line and taking every step of the race together.
As I reflect on Jane DO's journey, our own version of "going for the gold" is the bold decision to franchise our unique vision. Launching Jane DO wasn't just about creating another fitness brand, it was about revolutionizing the narrative around women's health and empowerment. Franchising Jane DO is about extending our mission to empower more women, to create spaces where they feel strong, included, and vibrant.
To those who've ever dreamt of making a tangible difference in women's lives while pursuing an entrepreneurial spirit, franchising with Jane DO is a golden opportunity. It's a chance to be part of something larger than yourself, to breathe life into a community eager for change and growth.
Let's go for the gold together, not just for the satisfaction of achieving personal goals but for the collective aim of lifting women everywhere to their highest potential. Here's to our strength, our dreams, and the vast horizons we've yet to conquer.
