Rediscovering My Dating Confidence After 8 Years!

Hey there, Janes! It's your girl, Kaitlin. Ok so at this point in my Temptation Island adventure, I thought I'd seen it all. But, boy, was I wrong! ๐Ÿ˜…

Picture this: I'm thrust into the world of reality TV dating, where I have to navigate the ups and downs of multiple first dates after being off the market for what feels like a lifetime. Talk about a crash course in dating! ๐Ÿ“บ๐Ÿ’•

Letโ€™s be honest I was terrified. I kept thinking โ€œWhat did I get myself into??โ€. The idea of talking to someone other than Hall made me uncomfortable, let alone dating someone new! But I knew that I would find self worth, pride, and strength on the other end of it all, so I decided to take on the challenge and see where this journey would lead me. Spoiler alert: I found my strength and confidence in the most unexpected way! ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ’–

The First Date Jitters

It had been years since I had to make a first impression or have any of that first date small talkโ€ฆand the thought of doing it on national television was enough to make me want to throw myself into the ocean (or at least at the bottom of a bottle of tequila). But, I put on something I felt sexy in, slapped on a smile, and took a deep breath. "You've got this, Kaitlin," I told myself. And you know what? I did! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Embracing the Awkwardness

One thing I learned from my reality TV experience is that first dates can be awkward, and I can be a little awkward LOL, but that's okay! In fact, it's kind of endearing. I mean, who doesn't love a little clumsy banter and nervous laughter? It's all part of the process, and it's what makes dating so exciting and unpredictable. So, I embraced the awkwardness and let my true self shine through. ๐ŸŒŸ

Finding My Strength

As I went on more and more dates, I started to realize something: I'm a strong, independent woman who doesn't need to be in a relationship to be happy. I can hold my own in any situation, and that's something to be proud of. This realization gave me the confidence to be more assertive and take control of my life, both on and off the Island. I started to understand what I actually wanted and was getting less and less afraid to go after it. ๐Ÿ’ƒ

Confidence is Key

The more I put myself out there, the more confident I became. I started to see my worth and understand that I deserve to be treated with respect and love. And guess what? That confidence was contagious! My dates could sense it too, and it made our connections even stronger. ๐Ÿฅฐ

What I Learned

My reality TV dating adventure taught me so much about myself and what I'm capable of. I learned to embrace the unknown, be open to new experiences, and most importantly, love myself for who I am. It's been a wild ride, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. I'm walking away from this experience with a newfound sense of self and the confidence to take on whatever life throws my wayโ€ฆ and donโ€™t worry Temptation Island sure threw some crazy things my way, but youโ€™ll just have to stay tuned for that.

XOXO,
Kitty
