DO Something That Scares You: Facing Fears on Reality TV

Hey Janes! It's me, your favorite reality TV star!! 🤣 But did you love the first episode?  Who are some of your fav couples? Ahhh so much to talk about…anywho, hopefully you were able to join us at one of the watch parties and keep tuning in. For those of you who missed it, here is a quick recap of my wild journey of love, fear, and self-discovery.

Hall and I are one of 4 couples that participated in this season of Temptation Island. We are going to be living separately in a house with 8 super hot singles (talk about temptation!!!) who are trying their hardest to make their own love story. You just have to keep watching to see what goes down, who finds love and who finds heartbreak!

Embracing the Unknown

Let me tell you, it was a rollercoaster of emotions, but I am so glad I took the plunge. I learned that it's crucial to do things that scare you and not let fear hold you back. So, get ready, because I'm about to spill the tea on my experience and hopefully inspire you to face your fears too!

When I first heard that I actually had an interview to be on the show, I was terrified. I mean, who in their right mind would willingly put their relationship on the line for the world to see? But then I thought, "Why not? What do I have to lose?" I realized that the fear of the unknown was holding me back from an incredible opportunity to grow as a person and as a partner.

So, I took a deep breath and embarked on a journey that would change my life forever. The experience was filled with challenges, tears, laughter, and a whole lot of self love.

Learning to Trust Myself

As the show progressed, I realized that I was learning to trust myself. I discovered that I had the strength and courage to overcome any obstacle thrown my way. And let me tell you, there were plenty of obstacles! I gained more confidence in myself and my ability to handle anything life throws at me.

The Takeaway

So, what's the moral of the story? Don't let fear hold you back! Embrace the unknown, face your fears, and trust yourself. You never know what amazing experiences and personal growth await you on the other side. So, to all you fabulous ladies out there, take a chance, face your fears, and live life to the fullest! Who knows, maybe you'll find yourself on a reality TV show too! 😉
